First Coordinators‘ Meeting 2016 on Rügen

On 26 and 27 January the coordinators from the member islands met on Rügen. 2016 projects had to be encouraged, details to be agreed, decisions to be prepared, plenty of administrative work to be done.

During a very intense meeting, the participants found their impressions from visiting municipalities and businesses on the island confirmed: a modern infrastructure with broadband access for everyone and use of sustainable energy are of fundamental importance for the rural development, for the successful development of a diverse, modern economy and best living conditions in a beautiful landscape.

The islands will continue their cooperation to contribute to this development with proven projects - the B7 Games for young athletes, Clean Beach activities for young islanders or even DISSONANCES reflected by island artists.
